Why Cosmetics?

I am not a make up artist and my approach to the entire industry starts with great skin care. As a matter of fact, if you follow me on social media or check out the motives beauty spotlight blog above, you will observe a fresh healthy face versus one that is "beat to the gods".

My love and passion for make up really started, accidentally, in 2006. -  Here's the real story.

In 2006, my sisters, and our daughters, were on a singing tour in Italy. We had several gigs in several cities and the pace was incredible. Every evening, we would sit in our dressing room(s) and get our faces together for the up-coming show. For some odd reason, I was asked to lend a hand with make up

In 2008, a new line of cosmetics, "motives", hit the scene and I was in love. Once again I found myself touring in Italy and, by now, I was the resident make up artist. Motives was the only product I was using.

At this point, I was still not interested in make up as an income source, I just knew that the line was hot, the pigment amazing and each year, they were ahead of the winter/spring and summer/fall trends. Whatever was on the run way, we had already introduced it to the masses.

The next thing I knew, I was affiliated with professional make up artists, stylists, salon owners and estheticians, who were also raving about the same product that I wore. Motives Cosmetics had become an icon in the industry and currently has more than 1.9 million followers on instagram. That is more than all other cosmetics companies, combined!

As a believer in multiple streams of income, all it took was for me to learn more about this $445 billion dollar industry and, a star was born.  Click here to sign up as a preferred customer and Click here to learn more about becoming a beauty advisor.
